Support Katarara Primary School's Success in Uganda

The 2018 Uganda Service Team is currently raising funds to support Katarara Primary School's critical school improvements! Katarara's successful computer program, excellent teaching and top ranked test scores have led to some challenges: a growing student population, the need to use partially constructed classrooms and drinking water shortages in the dry season.

If you can, consider donating, and share this campaign widely with your friends, family and community. Every dollar gets Katarara closer to meeting the needs of their students and helps us fulfill our commitment to working with this special school.

4 Weeks to Uganda and We're Taking Donations!

Uganda Service Trip Donations:  The Uganda travelers are collecting donations of the following items to take to Uganda during their service trip this June: women's & children's shoes** and used wedding dresses. 

The Kyibumba Women's Center we work with has a business plan to rent the wedding dresses out and use the money to pay school fees for children unable to attend the local nursery school. Monetary donations are also appreciated to support their service work. 

Shoes and wedding dresses can be left in the bin on the front porch of Feringa or brought directly to the Solarium. 

**Dress shoes, sneakers, rain boots and shoes for 2-5year olds especially needed. Men's shoes also welcome.  No winter boots, please.
